ABOUT JANJIQUE

JANJIQUE is a Paris-founded, London-based fashion house dedicated to creating innovative and unique fashion and lifestyle products. Established in 2014 by designer Zorana St John, the brand embodies a seamless blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, with a strong emphasis on precision tailoring, custom-developed fabrics, and modern reinterpretations of fashion’s classics.

Each collection is defined by architectural silhouettes, refined cuts, and a deep exploration of textile innovation—whether through experimental fabric manipulation, new cutting techniques, or bold explorations of form and color. The production process is entrusted to artisans in France and the UK, whose extraordinary craftsmanship ensures that every garment pushes the boundaries of both technical excellence and artistic vision.

Rather than following traditional seasonal cycles, JANJIQUE collections are numerically structured, emphasizing timelessness and continuous creative evolution over fleeting trends. This approach allows each collection to stand as a distinct chapter in the brand’s journey, reinforcing a seasonless philosophy that prioritizes craftsmanship, versatility, and enduring relevance.

At the heart of JANJIQUE is a commitment to empowering women in their professional and social lives, offering designs that elevate their presence while ensuring a harmonious balance of confidence, comfort, and individuality. The brand caters to women who are highly active, intellectually engaged, and unapologetically expressive—women who refuse to compromise on aesthetics or authenticity.

ABOUT ZORANA ST JOHN

Zorana St John (born Janjic) is originally from Belgrade, Serbia, and later moved to Austria, where she completed her high school education before pursuing a career in fashion. She graduated from the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in 2004 and went on to gain extensive experience at prestigious Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter houses, including Christian Dior, Givenchy, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Franck Sorbier, and Morgan. These roles provided her with an in-depth understanding of both the technical and strategic aspects of the fashion industry.

In pursuit of interdisciplinary creative growth, Zorana relocated to Vienna, where she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, developing her own collections while also exploring other artistic fields. From 2008 to 2013, she led the fashion design department at Lomography, a role that deepened her connection to analogue photography and strengthened her interest in blending visual arts with fashion. Her passion for film photography continues to influence her creative direction today, shaping her approach to storytelling, texture, and composition in design.

Recognized for her distinctive vision, she was awarded a grant by the Austrian Ministry for Education, the Arts, and Culture in 2013 to launch her brand, JANJIQUE. Shortly thereafter, she returned to Paris, where she officially launched JANJIQUE in 2014. Within its first year, the brand gained significant industry recognition, winning the Mediterranean Fashion Prize 2014, receiving a nomination for the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris 2014, and securing invitations to Skopje Design Week, Vancouver Fashion Week, and Journées de la Mode en Algérie.

Building on this foundation, Zorana later transitioned to London, where she collaborated with renowned brands such as Halpern and SKIIM Paris, further deepening her expertise in luxury fashion, collection development, and creative direction. With a strong background in both design and strategic brand development, she continues to develop JANJIQUE, ensuring its place as a modern yet timeless expression of craftsmanship, innovation, and refined elegance.
